Challenge
The GCX Marathon, a premier charity event benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, required seamless 10 day live production with high stakes and a diverse lineup of creators. Coordinating a mix of remote and in-studio teams presented challenges, including managing tight schedules, ensuring technical excellence across multiple streaming platforms, and maintaining engaging content. Additionally, the event required quick adaptability to handle live challenges such as technical glitches, last-minute schedule changes, and varying creator setups.
Solution
To meet these challenges, we led a strategic approach that began with extensive pre-production planning. This included designing stream layouts, creating detailed run-of-show documentation, and conducting technical tests with creators to ensure optimized setups. we acted as the central point of contact, streamlining communication between creators, production teams, and organizers to keep all parties aligned. During the live event, we utilized advanced streaming tools and troubleshooting processes to manage multiple video and audio inputs while maintaining quality control. We also handled real-time problem-solving to address technical and logistical issues, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum engagement.

The GCX Marathon was a resounding success, delivering a flawless multi-day broadcast that exceeded 1 million dollars in fundraising goals for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
